The Wellington City Council commissioned this mural as a part of the Egmont Street Alley Way project, which aimed to enhance the alleyway’s aesthetic appeal. A group of talented artists was chosen to craft murals, adorning selected garages along Egmont Street. Each mural was thoughtfully designed to narrate a unique story that resonates with the rich history and culture of the Te Aro area.
